- Becky Wharton is a graduate of Vassar College. After college, she worked for the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program in Yamagata Prefecture, Japan, teaching English to preschool through junior high students. She is currently a rising third year law student at the William & Mary School of Law. Last summer, she worked for the U.S. Institute of Peace, in Washington, D.C., concentrating on rule of law initiatives around the world. She researched legal empowerment and helped create training programs for rule of law practitioners, particularly in post-conflict and transitional states.
